Plug-and-flow handling of fluids and gases
For decades, Kendrion Kuhnke Automation is a successful and innovative technology partner in the field of medical and analysis technology.
Visit us at the COMPAMED in Düsseldorf, Germany, from November 13 to 16, 2017. At our booth J10 in hall 8b we would like to show you ways to intelligently combine cost reductions, energy savings and the integration of functionalities.
Using our expertise in technology fields such as fluid technology, solenoid technology and control technology we are able to develop and produce customized solutions from individual components all the way to complete functional units. When it comes to special technical challenges, we simply combine our know-how in these technologies to realize fully integrated high-end products across different technologies.
Special challenges call for special solutions. Especially if electronics and pneumatics need to be integrated intelligently. Several years ago Kendrion Kuhnke developed and presented its AirBoard® technology, the most compact combination of both disciplines, created by a printed circuit board with integrated air channels. To level up the AirBoard® and make it an appropriate sub plate system independently from the used media, Kendrion Kuhnke now shows its new FluidBoard®.
The FluidBoard® is the highly compact alternative to common sub plate systems with separate electronics. The FluidBoard® is a new sub plate system that connects machined or injection-molded plastic plates with modern laser-welding technology. The FluidBoard® makes it possible to combine electronic components and electronic printed circuit boards (pcb) with fluidic components such as solenoid valves, pressure regulators and restrictors in an extremely flexible module. With a wide portfolio of usable plastics the FluidBoard® is predestinated for various, especially aggressive media either liquids or gases (e.g. medical gases). Either with machined or moulded single plates, this innovative combination of product and production technologies represents a cost-effective alternative to classical manifold solutions.
Pneumatic components like solenoid valves, pressure regulators, pumps, etc. can easily be mounted on the FluidBoard®. By adding conductive track structures to the FluidBoard®, it is even possible to directly integrate THT and SMD components such as pressure and flow sensors and many other control elements. The free choice for combining any component adds up to a comprehensive functional unit combining fluid and electronic control Plug-and-Flow.
With the fluid isolation valve which can be configured with a variety of sealing materials (such as EPDM, KFM or NBR) we demonstrate a cost-effective way to realize high flow rates of demanding medical and analytic gases and fluids in combination with low electric power requirements.
We would also like to show you our very latest development in the field of locking technology. After presenting our advanced motorized locking unit in 2016, Kendrion Kuhnke is now able to present another development within this product range: The cost-optimized and compact solenoid lock. This lock is designed primarily for medical and analytical applications requiring automated opening and closing of doors. Using an intelligent combination of mechanics and sensor technology, it can be integrated easily into devices and systems with integrated control electronics.
Expect these and many more solutions at Kendrion Kuhnke in hall 8b, booth J10.
We are looking forward to meeting with you!
